OnlyFans has lifted its own ban on 'adult' content
Just recently, the editorial staff of gg told about a strange suicide attempt by one of the most famous services for young successful bloggers - OnlyFans. The company was going to ban the posting of "adult" content (read: porn) on its site.
Given that porn is the basis of the popularity of the service as such, the decision looked like at least an attempt to shoot themselves in the foot. OnlyFans attributed the imminent ban to "pressure from banks".
Be that as it may, the panic is off. Thousands of would-be unemployed can breathe easy and return to their regular self-employment - official Twitter account OnlyFans suddenly reported the reversal of its own decision, adding a vague phrase about getting some kind of "guarantees".
"Thank you all, your voices were heard. We have secured the safeguards necessary to support our diverse community of creators and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change. OnlyFans stands for inclusivity, and we will continue to provide a home for all authors," the statement reads.
