Apple's new range of smartphones will still be called iPhone 13 and will be more expensive than iPhone 12

Autumn is right around the corner so more and more information about Apple's upcoming smartphones is appearing on network.

Still iPhone 13

Earlier there were rumors that the new lineup will not be called iPhone 13, but iPhone 12s. But now in Chinese social network Weibo published a photo of a label for sealing Apple products in boxes. And  it clearly indicates the name of iPhone 13.

Of course, the reliability of the image is not confirmed, but leaked author DuanRui last year so  "leaked" images of packaging labels with the correct name iPhone 12.

Recall that the family is expected to include four models: iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Expect a price hike

In addition, DigiTimes report iPhone 13 price hike compared to last year's iPhone 12. It is reported that such step Apple will have to take to offset the increased costs of chip production from its leading supplier TSMC.

According to the report, TSMC plans to increase rates to 20%, but from next January. Meanwhile, Apple, TSMC's largest customer, whose orders account for more than 20% of total factory revenue, will experience a price increase of 3-5%. To offset it, it is considering price increases iPhone 13. But exactly how much - is unknown.
