Samsung continues its fight against leaks and has come up with a new tactic. Will it work?

Samsung has seriously started fighting leaks regarding its unannounced products. For example, details about Galaxy Z smartphones Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 and other new products of the recent launch were leaked long before August 11. So the company has come up with a new strategy.

What does this mean?

So, Samsung has developed a new privacy agreement for its manufacturing partners semiconductors and other components. The new contracts are not for all partners, but mainly for those who are deeply involved in manufacturing. These are some Japanese companies and South Korean subsidiaries of multinational corporations. But the manufacturers of factory equipment involved in production are not affected.

Only a few points have been added to the new agreement. First, it's banning new employees from working on Samsung parts manufacturing. Second, companies must each notify Samsung when an employee leaves any of its partners and within a year moves to work for a competitor.

By the way, Samsung already has a rule that prohibits its employees from working for a competitor. But this is the first company to extend this policy to its partners.

A violation of either of the two clauses faces a hefty fine - from $85,000. Reportedly, most companies in South Korea and Japan that have been offered the contract by Samsung have agreed to sign without issue.
