Huawei may leave its fans without one of its two flagship lines. The reason is old - the consequences of sanctions imposed by the United States.

Who's getting cancelled?

An insider under the nickname 菊厂影业Fans in the Chinese social network Weibo wrote about Huawei's new strategy, according to which the company will release only one line of flagship smartphones per year. In this case, the popular Huawei P series, within which the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro were introduced in mid-summer, will go under the knife.

Not only that, but the Shenzhen-based technology giant will postpone the announcement of the Huawei Mate 50 family, which was originally expected to premiere this fall, to 2022. According to new information, they will be introduced at the end of the second quarter of 2022.

Huawei plans to produce 5G-smartphones, but as part of the next generation, we are again expecting modifications with 4G. It is noted that, as in the case of Huawei P50, the family Huawei Mate 50 will offer users models based on Snapdragon 898 and Kirin (chip not specified).
