Moto E20 smartphone spotted in Geekbench with key specs

Motorola's much-anticipated Moto E20 smartphone has been fleshing out rumors for a while now, and now it has hit the spotlight in cross-platform benchmark Geekbench 5. The consumer electronics company is gearing up for the Moto E30 smartphone, but details about its launch date are still scarce. Earlier this week, a source shared some renders and specs of the Moto E20, revealing that the device is codenamed "Aruba".

Apart from this, many other details have been revealed including display size, battery capacity and camera specs. While the rest of the details will be confirmed during the official launch of the series, MySmartPrice spotted the Moto E20 on Geekbench. This Geekbench listing has confirmed some of the key specs revealed in previous leaks. Moreover, the Geekbench test results show that the E20 will feature a 1.6GHz Unisoc processor paired with 2GB of RAM.

Geekbench 5 test result shows the Motorola Aruba phone. As mentioned earlier, it is codenamed Moto E20. The preliminary result of the benchmark test shows that the E20 will have a 1.6GHz Unisoc octa-core chipset under the hood. Moreover, this means that the device will come with 2GB of RAM and will run Android 11 OS out of the box. According to a report by GSM Arena, this could be the Go version. In addition, the phone will be equipped with a Mali-G57 GPU.

Geekbench 5 test result shows that the smartphone scored 273 points in the single-core test and 712 points in the multi-core test. According to the Geekbench 4 test result, the smartphone scored 1,467 and 4,621 points in single-core and multi-core tests. Earlier, it was reported that the device will feature a 6.5-inch display with a water drop cutout and HD+ resolution. It will also feature a dual rear camera with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

A 4000 mAh battery will power the entire system. The battery supports 10W charging capacity. On the front, the phone features a 5MP selfie camera. It will also come with 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. Motorola may release a variant with 3GB RAM later this year. The phone will have a microSD card slot that can be used to expand the phone's built-in memory.
