Not a competitor to Xiaomi Mi Pad 5: Realme Pad tablet will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor

We have already written more than once that Realme company is preparing to release its first tablet. Now, thanks to an insider, new details about the device have surfaced online.

What is known

According to the leak, Realme Pad will be equipped with a MediaTek processor, namely Helio G80. For those not in the know, it is a 12-nanometer chip that was introduced in 2020. It comes with two Cortex-A75 cores with a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum frequency of 1.8 GHz, as well as Mali-G52 graphics. That is, the novelty will not compete Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. Recall, it runs on a more powerful SoC Snapdragon 860.

As for other Realme Pad features, it should come with a 10.4-inch AMOLED screen. In addition, the novelty is attributed a battery of 7100 mAh, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of ROM in the basic version, the charging port USB-C, stereo speakers, support for branded stylus, a slot for microSD cards, the operating system Android 11 c proprietary shell, which will be specially optimized for a large screen and two versions: c Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + LTE. 

When to expect

No official announcement date for Realme Pad yet, but rumor has it that the novelty will be presented September 9
