Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro were the world's first smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 778G processor. They went on sale in late June, and two months later, new versions of the summer novelties hit the market.

What was shown?

The company unveiled a special modification of the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro. It's called Honor Code or Glory Password, depending on which Chinese translator you use. This is a limited edition, which differs from the standard model only by the bright coloring of the body.

The rear panel features the same glass, but it's been given a shimmering inscription that references the brand name. At the same time, special background images were created for the screen in a similar style.

The rest of the parameters were left unchanged. Apart from the Snapdragon 778G chip, the smartphones feature a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP primary camera, a 32MP front-facing camera and a 120Hz OLED screen. The Honor 50 Pro also has a 12MP ultra-wide-angle selfie module at the front, the battery capacity was 4,000mAh and the fast charging power was 100W. The standard model got a 4,300mAh battery, but recharging has been trimmed down to 66W.

How much does it cost?

Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro will be available starting at $415 and starting at $570 respectively. Sales are scheduled to launch on "worldwide flip calendars day", September 3.
