Bose introduced QuietComfort 45 headphones with improved sound, USB-C port and battery life up to 24 hours for $329
Bose, almost four years after the release of the QuietComfort 35 II headphones, has introduced their new model, the QuietComfort 45.
What's knownThe headphones come in two colors, a slightly updated look and improved filler.
The new model comes with two modes of operation: Quiet and Aware. The first one isolates you from the surrounding noise and the second one amplifies it so you can better understand what is going on around you. The same drivers are responsible for the sound in QuietComfort 45, but now they come with TriPort architecture, which should improve the sound quality of the headphones.
Powered by Bluetooth 5.1. In addition, the headphones feature a 3.5mm jack, a USB-C port and support for connecting to multiple devices simultaneously. As for the QuietComfort 45's battery life, it should last up to 24 hours. The headphones support fast charging (15 minutes to 3 hours of use).
Sales of the Bose QuietComfort 45 will start on September 24. Depending on the region, the headphones will cost $329, €349 or £319. The new product will compete with the Sony WH-1000XM4 (review).
