South Korean company Samsung will start testing One UI 4.0 software along with Android 12 operating system. The firmware with the new "green robot" revision will be available for three flagship smartphones in 2021.

Who and when?

We will immediately note that we are talking about a beta version of the shell. Not only that, it is highly probable that the firmware testing in the first time will be limited to South Korea only. Such conclusions are suggested by the fact that the poster, which Samsung used to announce the upcoming release of One UI 4.0 for Android 12, is only available in Korean (the second poster below is a machine translation).

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones will be the first to try out the software's innovations. There is no information about One UI 4.0 features yet, but according to rumors, this firmware version will feature Google Material You stylistic redesign.

The exact start date of the beta testing program has not yet been announced. But we already know that Samsung will start sending out a trial One UI 4.0 on Android 12 in September.
