After weeks of rumors and leaks, Realme has announced the launch date for its new Realme 8 line of smartphones.

What is known

The devices will be called Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i. They will debut on September 9. That is, as early as next week. By the way, it is rumored that on the same day the tablet Realme Padwill be shown, but so far the manufacturer has not confirmed it.

Recall, Realme 8s 5G will be the first smartphone on the market to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip. The model is also credited with 6.5-inch display with 90Hz picture refresh rate, 6/8GB RAM, 128/256GB storage, triple main camera with 64 MP main sensor, single 16 MP front camera, 5000 mAh battery with 33W charging support, lateral fingerprint scanner and USB-C port.

Realme 8i, in turn, will get a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, 6.59 inch screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, 4GB RAM, 128GB UFS 2.2 ROM, 50 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP camera and battery like the Realme 8s 5G.
