The Galaxy S22 smartphones are still a long way away from being announced, but details about the new products continue to emerge online.

What this time

Batteries for the new devices have been certified by the Chinese agency 3C. Judging by the numbers, they will be used in the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones. The first novelty will get a capacity of 4500 mAh. Unfortunately, this is less than the current Galaxy S21+ model (4800 mAh).

As for Galaxy S22 Ultra, it will have the same battery as Galaxy S21 Ultra. That is 5000 mAh. It looks like we shouldn't expect any serious changes in the new devices' battery life, unless Samsung engineers manage to optimize the software well.

Recall that most of the Galaxy S22 flagship will run on Snapdragon 898 processors instead of the proprietary SoC Exynos 2200.
