Nikkei Asia, citing sources in the supply chain, reported interesting information about Google's plans for the new Pixel 6 flagships.

Doomed to

 success

So, Google has high hopes for the Pixel 6 lineup and even asked suppliers to prepare 50% more production capacity for the phones compared to levels before the  pandemic in 2019. Given that the company delivered 7  million gadgets in 2019, we should expect a volume of 10.5 million. But, of course, these figures are far away from other smartphone market giants: for comparison, Apple ships more than 200 million iPhones a year, and Samsung  from 260 to 300 million.

Nevertheless, Google has reason to be optimistic. Recall, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will use Tensor SoC - own system on chip designed for new "Pixel". Thus, the Pixel 6 marks Google's return to the flagship smartphone market, as last year's Pixel 5 matched the mid-range and not top-end.

Also, the Pixel 6 will be the first major camera update in many years, and knowing Google's photography capabilities, expect high marks from DxOMark experts. Well, and, of course, do not forget about cute design, which will stand out new items on background of competitors.

Recall, according to rumors, Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be presented on September 13, and on sale they will not arrive until October 28.
