Android - is far from the safest platform in the world, although the security of other platforms is not very high. But this problem can be solved by the NitroPhone, which the manufacturer calls "the safest Android smartphone in the world ".

What is it?

If you think the NitroPhone looks a lot like an existing gadget - then you don't think so. It's essentially a pumped up Pixel 4a, only running GrapheneOS. The shell was created by developer and cybersecurity specialist Daniel Micay.

So, GrapheneOS on NitroPhone offers full protection against hacker attacks, spyware, vulnerabilities, unauthorized access and other gimmicks. This is possible with Google's Titan M security chip and strong encryption. The smartphone also got a built-in fingerprint sensor, verified boot, automatic emergency switch, and encryption PIN code.

There is no integration with cloud or Google services here, and apps are installed in isolation from the store. Moreover, they cannot access device serial numbers, IMEI, subscriber ID, SIM card serial numbers etc.

At the same time,  open-source provides backdoor verification. Remote validation is also possible. This is hardware authentication and software integrity. Also worth noting is the enhanced browser and rapid distribution of security updates.

Otherwise, it's the same same Pixel 4a: 5,81-inch screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, 6/128GB memory, 12,2-megapixel primary camera and 3140 mAh battery with support 18-watt fast charging.
NitroPhone is priced at $749.
