Failure in the Matrix or a car for Neo: Tesla Cybertruck will not begin mass production until late 2023
Elon Musk unveiled the futuristic Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck back in late 2019 and then promised that production would begin in 2021. It's been 8 months of 2021, but production never started. Now the head of Tesla has announced a new timeline to employees.
When?
As we already understand, the release date has been postponed again. The first copies of the Tesla Cybertruck are not scheduled to be available until the end of 2022. And mass production will start even later - in late 2023. Of course, the company may then move these dates as well.
Although Ilon Musk warned even earlier that there may be problems with production of the pickup. The reason is in the features of the vehicle, specifically the frame construction and stainless steel body, design, and also bulletproof windows. All this requires completely new production processes.
Nevertheless, Musk is not disappointed by the postponement. Moreover - he continues to praise the Tesla Cybertruck, coming up with more and more epithets and comparisons for it:
"This is going to be a special project. It's like a glitch in the Matrix. As if Neo had a car"
