On August 10, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tablets premiered. The base model will hit the international market this month, and meanwhile, one Belarusian retailer has revealed the price of the upcoming new product.

How much does it cost?

Only the version powered by the Snapdragon 860 processor will be sold outside of China. What's interesting, on the retailer's Instagram page, the description for the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 states that the model supports 5G. In fact, the tablet is only available in Wi-Fi only modification. Not only that, the Snapdragon 860 chip itself is limited to 4G only.

Anyway, in Belarus the novelty will sell in configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage capacity for 1 199 rubles or $480. For comparison, in China the same version costs $310.

To be fair, it should be noted that Xiaomi equipment in Belarus is more expensive than in other European countries. For example, the POCO F3 sells in the official store for 1,399 rubles (€470) in the 6/128GB modification, while in the eurozone states the price is €399 in the 6/256GB configuration.

Recall, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is equipped with 11" IPS 120Hz display, 8,720 mAh battery with 33-watt charging capacity and supports input using stylus. The tablet also has four stereo speakers, an 8MP front and a 13MP primary camera.
