Vivo Y21s - Helio G80, 50MP camera and high capacity battery starting at $195

Vivo has introduced a mid-budget smartphone. The novelty is called Vivo Y21s. Judging by the technical parameters, it will try to compete with Redmi 10, but it will be difficult to succeed.

Specifications

Like the Redmi 10, Vivo's model comes with a 5000mAh battery, 8MP front-facing camera and 50MP primary camera. The novelty remains without the 8MP ultra-wide-angle module, but gets a pair of 2MP sensors.

The Vivo Y21s also has an IPS display, but the resolution is downgraded to HD+ and the refresh rate is down to 60Hz. Instead of Helio G88, the less powerful Helio G80 single-chip system is used. The amount of RAM is 4 GB and the built-in memory is 128 GB.

The novelty got Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5 adapters, headphone output, USB-C port and side biometric sensor. The fast charging power by wire is 18W.

Price

The Vivo Y21s has been priced at $195. The Redmi 10 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs the same. The novelty will come with FunTouch OS 11.1 firmware powered by Android 11 in Midnight Blue and Pear White colors.
