Samsung hasn't renewed the Note brand name. A transparent hint?
Samsung Galaxy Note 21 won't be released this year, and new trademark announcements in South Korea suggest that we won't see any new Galaxy Note series devices in the future, in principle.
Samsung has recently updated its trademarks for a number of titles, including the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, Galaxy M and Galaxy A series.
The notable exception is the Galaxy Note series. Its absence from this list is a clear sign that the company does not intend to introduce the Galaxy Note 22 in 2022.
In 2021, the company has decided to focus on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable phones rather than releasing a new Galaxy Note.
It is believed that Samsung intends to promote its foldable phones, so we might see the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the second half of 2022 following the Galaxy S22 earlier this year.
Samsung has also introduced support for the S Pen - a distinctive Galaxy Note feature - in the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3 (pictured above), so those who need a stylus can choose either of these phones.
