Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablet will get Exynos 2200 processor and will compete iPad Pro with Apple M1
We already wrote about that Samsung is preparing flagship tablets Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra. Now interesting details have been revealed about the older Ultra model.
iPad Pro competitor
It was previously reported that like all of Samsung's flagship tablets in recent years, the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup will use Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. But now the Korean media reports that Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra may get a proprietary Exynos 2200 processor with AMD graphics.
Perhaps, as in the case of Galaxy S22 smartphones, there will be several versions of the model for different markets - with Snapdragon processor and Exynos 2200. But given the global shortage of semiconductors, Samsung probably doesn't yet itself know which processor might eventually run on which of the upcoming Galaxy devices.
But if the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra does get the Exynos 2200 processor, it could compete nicely with the new iPad Pro with Apple M1, as its performance should be better than its predecessors. The tablet is also credited with a 14,6-inch screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 11500 mAh battery.
According to rumors, the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup will be introduced early next year.
