Xiaomi announced MiJia Air Purifier 4 Pro for $200

Xiaomi has revealed its new MiJia Air Purifier 4 Pro in China.

What is known

The device is the successor of the popular model MiJia Air Purifier 3 Pro. The gadget has got a similar look and new features. It is capable of transmitting up to 8330 liters of air per minute. The device is equipped with a large filtering element with a 5-layer structure. According to the manufacturer, it has increased by 4,000 square centimeters compared to the previous model. By utilizing this and the doubled amount of activated carbon, the unit is able to effectively filter out dust, pet hair and PM2.5 particles. The filter element's aldehyde removal efficiency has also been improved to 185% and toluene removal efficiency to over 96%.

MiJia Air Purifier 4 Pro also features 33dB noise reduction and anti-bacterial and anti-virus coating. It is 99.99% resistant to H1N1 virus, E.coli, Staphylococcus aureus and other airborne pathogens. The purifier is equipped with an OLED screen and a three-color bar. It displays the indoor air quality.

MiJia Air Purifier 4 Pro will start selling in China on September 9. The asking price is $200 USD.
