Technics announces new turntable SL-1210G

Technics is releasing a new version of the SL-1210G turntable this October.

As the twin of the limited edition SL-1210GAE turntable, the SL-1210G incorporates audiophile-grade technology below the Reference grade.

• New iron coreless direct drive motor with dual rotor/single stator
• Hybrid encoder for speed sensing using digital and analog technology for increased stability
• Cold-tensioned magnesium tone arm
• Three-layer support disc with high vibration damping performance

SL-1210G will be available in Europe from October 2021 at £3,499 (~$4800 or ~€4700).
