TCL 20 R: 5G smartphone with 90 Hz screen, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip and triple camera for 179 euros

TCL company continues to expand its line of smartphones TCL 20, released a new model in Europe.

What is the smartphone

The device was named TCL 20 R. The novelty has a 6.52-inch display with LCD, HD+ resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 90 Hz and sensor readout frequency of 180 Hz. The panel has a peak brightness of 500 nits. 

The device runs on an octa-core 7-nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with a 5G modem, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The TCL 20 R is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery. It charges via the included 10W power supply. The novelty also has a triple main camera with 13 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors and a classic fingerprint scanner .

The device comes with Android 11 on board. The manufacturer promises to update the smartphone for three years (1 year of OS updates and 3 years of security patches).

Price and when to expect

Sales of TCL 20 R will start in Europe at the end of September. It will cost 179 euro.
