Realme 8i: 120Hz screen, MediaTek Helio G96 chip, 5000mAh battery and up to 11GB of RAM for $190
Along with Realme 8s 5G, sub-brand OPPO today showed another budget smartphone from this line.
What is the model
The device was named Realme 8i. It externally resembles Realme 8s 5G, but differs in characteristics. The novelty is equipped with a 6.6-inch screen. It has received an LCD matrix, FHD + resolution, refresh rate of 120 Hz and 100% coverage of color space DCI-P3.
The device runs on the MediaTek Helio G96 chip, which has two 2.05GHz Cortex-A76 performance cores and six conventional Cortex-A66 cores. The chip comes paired with 4/6GB RAM. A Dynamic RAM expansion feature is available.
The Realme 8i is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It charges through the USB-C port using the included 18-watt charger.
A single 16 MP front camera and a 50 MP + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (B&W) triple main camera are responsible for the photo and video capabilities of the smartphone. Out of the box, the Realme 8i comes with Android 11 operating system.
Price and when to expectSales of Realme 8i will start in India on September 14. For the basic modification of the smartphone at 4/64 GB will ask $190, and for the top-end 6/128 GB - $215. Whether the device will be available in Europe is still unknown.
