While OnePlus fans are waiting for the OnePlus 9RT flagship, the company is also working on a new budget device.

What is known

An Indian insider under the nickname @heyitsyogesh told about it. If everything goes according to plan, the device will be released late this year or as early as the second quarter of 2022. The novelty will hit the market under the Nord brand and will cost less than $270. Unfortunately, specs of the smartphone are not available yet.

Recall, the cheapest OnePlus smartphone right now is the OnePlus Nord N100. The device has 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (1600×720p) and refresh rate of 90 Hz, a front camera embedded in the screen at 8 MP, triple main camera with sensors at 13 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP, stereo speakers and a voluminous battery of 5000 mAh with 18W charging. Powered by a Snapdragon 460 processor, the OnePlus Nord N100 is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 ROM. The device can be purchased now on AliExpress for $133.
