Xiaomi is actively trying to implement the technology to increase the amount of RAM in smartphones, but the company does not forget about the tablets.

What is known?

Naturally, we are only talking about two models: Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro. Both novelties went on sale in mid-August and immediately became bestsellers. The first batch was sold out in 5 minutes. The tablets returned to the shelves three days later, but on September 2 announced about the shortage.

The RAM expansion technology for the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro is only available in the beta version of MIUI for Pad software for now. The tablets are equipped with 128GB or 256GB of internal memory, meaning users can add another 2GB or 3GB to the 6GB RAM, respectively.

Recall, POCO F3 has received a stable global version of MIUI 12.5 with Memory Fusion support, but with increasing the amount of RAM the smartphone begins to reboot spontaneously.
