Honor has unexpectedly introduced a mid-budget smartphone. The model is called Honor Play 5T Pro. It was expected that the novelty will debut on August 12, but the manufacturer decided otherwise.

What was revealed?

The smartphone features a 6.6" FHD+ LCD screen with a small hole for a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The main camera packs just two 64MP + 2MP modules. You could have kept just one.

The Honor Play 5T Pro is based on the 12nm Helio G80 chipset, which debuted in the Redmi 9 a year ago. The single-chip system is paired with 8GB of RAM. Built-in storage has a capacity of 128GB, and a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5-watt fast charging is responsible for battery life.

The smartphone's arsenal includes Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, USB-C, GPS and headphone output. The biometric sensor is mounted on the right edge of the case. NFC support is not announced.

Price

The manufacturer's recommended price for the Honor Play 5T Pro was $230. The novelty will be available for purchase in Magic Night Black and Titanium Silver colors. The smartphone will go on sale with Magic UI 4.0 pre-installed firmware based on Android 10.
