Large batch of Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO smartphones got Android 12
Xiaomi is actively testing the Android 12 operating system with MIUI 12.5 firmware. The beta version of the "green robot" has received three dozen smartphones, including several mid-budget models along with expensive flagships.
What's known?
Often, budget smartphones only get one Android update, so for the Redmi Note 8 (2021) and Redmi 10 that made the list, Android 12 could be the latest version of the OS. Although, the original Redmi Note 8 updated from Android 9.0 to Android 11. Also from the brand's relatively cheap smartphones, let's mention the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
And to wrap up the Redmi theme, here's a list of other smartphones that are participating in Android 12 testing right away:
- Redmi K40
- Redmi K40 Pro
- Redmi K40 Pro+
- Redmi K30S
- Redmi K30 Pro
- Redmi K30 Pro Zoom
Xiaomi has finally included the current generation sub-flagship models. We're talking about the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and 5G. But there's a NE version on the list, which hasn't been unveiled yet. But the main focus is on the flagship solutions:
- Xiaomi Mix 4
- Xiaomi Mi 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Ultra / 11X / 11X Pro / 11i / 11T Pro
- Xiaomi Mi 10 / 10 Pro / 10 Ultra / 10T / 10T Pro / 10S
And several POCO models here too:
