Apple Watch Series 7 to be released this month despite initial production issues
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a note this morning in which he admitted that Apple has encountered manufacturing problems in ramping up production of the new Apple Watch, which is due to be unveiled Tuesday at Apple's Sept. 14 event.
However, according to Kuo, Apple and its suppliers have already overcome these problems and mass production will begin soon. The analyst expects the new Watch lineup to be released in late September.
As before, Kuo claims that the main feature of the Series 7 will be a "dramatic design change" as Apple prepares the iPhone 12-style look of the watch with flat sides and "square" edges.
The displays are expected to be noticeably larger and the bezel surrounding the screen will be smaller than current models. Editorial gg has previously reportedthat the 45mm Apple Watch Series 7 will have 16% more pixels than the current 44mm model it will replace.
Kuo points out that early production issues were mainly due to a new approach to display assembly. Along with external design changes, Apple is also using a lot of new manufacturing processes for internal components.
