Meizu resurrects the budget Blue Charm series after 3.5 years. Why?
Meizu has officially announced the return of its Meizu Blue Charm series of budget devices.
What to expect
The brand was created in December 2014, but already in 2018 Meizu decided to close the Blue Charm series and focus on flagships. Nothing good from it never came out, so the company with time had to focus only the native Chinese market.
But now unexpectedly Meizu has announced on social media the return of Charm Blue after an absence of 1269 days. This will be led by Hua Hailiang, vice president Meizu Technology, as former head Li Nan left the company last year and founded his own startup.
It seems that under the brand Blue Charm will be produced not only smartphones. In this July, the Chinese manufacturer opened a couple of new accounts on Weibo, including Blue Charm TV, Blue Charm Tablet, Blue Charm Watch and Blue Charm Router. This means that the range of the series will be expanded to include TVs, tablets, smart watches, routers , etc.
