Amazon has unveiled its most powerful Fire TV Stick 4K Max set-top box with a $55 price tag
Amazon has officially unveiled the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max, which replaces the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K released in 2018.
What's on offer?
It's a flagship device that supports faster connectivity Wi-Fi 6 and faster processor speeds than its predecessors. It claims a 40% increase in performance thanks to a 4-core processor running at 1.8GHz, 2GB of RAM, a graphics processor, and the added low-latency auto mode. As a result Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is now better suited for the Luna cloud gaming service.
HDR and Dolby Vision support is also claimed. The set-top box features Amazon Alexa Voice remote control with voice control and additional shortcut buttons.
How much?
The novelty costs just $55, although Amazon assures that some streaming devices offering similar features cost up to $180. Pre-order acceptance has already started, but the first units won't be delivered until October 7. Unfortunately, Amazon isn't revealing details of the global launch of the Fire TV Stick 4K Max.
