Samsung's Android 12 beta has been delayed
Android 12 is yet to be released on Pixel phones, but it's just around the corner. Apparently, Samsung was going to release a beta version of Android 12 last week, but now the launch has been delayed.
Last month, Samsung confirmed that it plans to start rolling out the beta version of Android 12 to Galaxy S21 devices in South Korea on September 9. Apparently, however, that date has come and gone without a release.
In another announcement, Samsung has confirmed that due to an unspecified delay, the release date of the first Android 12 beta has been postponed. At this point, it's unclear what the reason is, but the beta is still expected in September.
In related news, Samsung also recently confirmed a few details about the One UI 4.0 beta in the US. In a community post, the company confirmed that the beta will be released in the US for the Galaxy S21 series, but only for unlocked devices or T-Mobile/Sprint devices. When the beta is released, it will be available through the Samsung Members app.
