Xiaomi started distributing the global version of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced software. The update has been made available to the current generation flagship.

Who updated?

We are talking about the Xiaomi Mi 11i powered by Snapdragon 888 with 108MP camera. It went on sale with MIUI 12 firmware and then updated to MIUI 12.5. The Enhanced version along with system optimizations brought a security patch for September 2021.

The software is still built on Android 11 operating system. The firmware is numbered v12.5.2.0 RKKMIXM. The update fixes glitches when using the biometric sensor and front-facing camera to unlock the smartphone at the same time.

Note that no problems have been reported by Xiaomi Mi 11i users yet after installing MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. That said, POCO F3 broke after software update.
