Redmi G 2021 gaming notebook will get GeForce RTX 3060

Xiaomi has published two teasers of the upcoming gaming laptop Redmi G 2021 within twenty-four hours. The first image confirmed the very existence of the laptop and the presentation date. The second one revealed the main feature of the future product.

What we know

Redmi G 2021 will be equipped with GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. Moreover, the model will get the most powerful variant of the graphics accelerator with TGP 130W. The card is based on GA106 generation Ampere GPU with 3840 stream processors and speed up to 1750 MHz in Boost mode.

Adapter is equipped with 6 GB of internal GDDR6 memory with 192-bit bus and effective frequency of 14 GHz. VRAM bandwidth reaches 336GB/sec.

Redmi G 2021 has all chances to become the highest performing gaming laptop in Xiaomi's range in terms of graphics subsystem. The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro X 15, which got a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card, is now considered to be such.

The upcoming newcomer is expected to get a 16.1" panel with 165Hz refresh rate. There is no more information about the laptop. It is scheduled to premiere on September 22.
