Seven Xiaomi smartphones will receive MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in October

Xiaomi unveiled the firmware MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in early August along with the flagship Mix 4. The first wave of the update swept about a dozen models on Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 888+ chips. Now, the manufacturer has released the list of smartphones that will get the stable MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in the second phase.
The second batch will include seven mid-budget and budget level devices. Chinese users will be the first to receive the update. As part of the next phase, Xiaomi will update the following models:
- Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth
- Redmi Note 10 5G
- Redmi Note 10 Pro
- Redmi Note 9 4G / 5G
- Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G
- Redmi Note 8
The firmware will be built on the Android 11 operating system. The second phase of the update rollout is scheduled for October 8.
