The Redmi Note 10S announced in spring 2021 has only now reached the experts at DxOMark. They tested the smartphone's camera and gave their verdict.

Video recording was rated at 82 points. The shortcomings included unstable exposure, noise in low light and insufficient saturation. At the same time Redmi Note 10S shoots video well on the street and has good image stabilization.

For photography, the model received 98 points. Exposure, natural color reproduction, and white balance were considered as strengths here, while limited dynamic range, imprecise autofocus, and low level of detail were considered as weaknesses.

Redmi Note 10S with 92 points in total placed closer to the end of the DxOMark ranking. It couldn't beat Vivo Y72 5G (94 points), but was just above Samsung Galaxy A22 5G (89 points), which were also tested in September.

Recall, the main camera in the Redmi Note 10S is represented by four modules. The resolution is 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP. The smartphone can shoot video in FHD at 60 FPS and in 4K at 30 FPS, but the tests were conducted in 1080p/30fps mode.
