As expected, GoPro introduced a new generation action camera. The model is called GoPro Hero 10 Black, and it's priced at $550.
What can?
According to the manufacturer, the new model is designed to bring a new level of smooth video shooting. It features a 23.6-megapixel image sensor and boasts HyperSmooth 4.0 stabilization system.
GoPro Hero 10 Black is powered by GP2 processor. It supports shooting video at a maximum resolution of 5.3K at 60 FPS. The company also claims 4K UHD at 120 FPS and 2.7K at 240 FPS. Users can extract still images from the video. The resulting frame resolutions are 19.5 MP and 15.8 MP in 5K and 5.3K formats, respectively.
With HyperSmooth 4.0 technology, the tilt angle limit rose from 27 to 45 degrees, which gives the maximum opportunity to smooth out even the biggest shake. At the same time, the manufacturer also claims to have improved the horizon levelling technology. Live streaming with HyperSmooth 4.0 is allowed in FHD resolution.
Files can be transferred either "through the air" using Quick software or by using a USB cable. In the latter case, the transfer speed increases by one and a half times.
