DxOMark: Realme GT Neo takes better photos than the iPhone SE 2020
Following Redmi Note 10S DxOMark experts gave a verdict on the camera of the available flagship Realme GT Neo.
The smartphone is equipped with three modules with 64 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP resolution. The 8-megapixel image sensor is complemented by ultra-wide-angle optics. There is no telephoto lens. The model can shoot video in 4K at 30 FPS and FHD at 60 FPS. But tested recording clips in FHD at 30 FPS.
White balance, detail (64MP camera), autofocus and wide dynamic range were attributed to the strengths of Realme GT Neo. The downsides were a drop in detail when shooting with the ultra-wide-angle camera (8 MP), slow autofocus during video recording, inaccurate rendering of skin color when there is a lack of light, as well as not the best background blur in portrait mode.
The smartphone received 105 points and equaled the Samsung Galaxy A72. The South Korean company's model shoots better video and boasts a telephoto lens. That said, the Realme GT Neo beat out the iPhone SE 2020, which was awarded 103 points. Apple's smartphone is much better at shooting video, though, with 105 versus 79 points.
