Apple has released the final version of iOS 15: what's new and who can upgrade

As promised, today, September 20, Apple has released a stable version of the iOS 15 operating system, and along with it - iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15 for tablets, "smart" watches and TV set-top boxes.

What's new?

OS 15 includes a brand new Safari design, and also many more or less useful innovations. For example, Focus mode, which allows you to automatically filter notifications based on what you're doing at the moment, such as fitness, sleep, gaming, reading, driving, work, or personal time. Your contacts in message conversations will see that your notifications are turned off with Focus.

Speaking of notifications. The new interface shows photos of contacts for people and larger icons for apps. There are also selections of the most important notifications daily according to the schedule you set. Notifications can be turned off from any app or message thread for the next hour or for the day.

The new Live Text feature is able to detect text in any image and allows you to copy, paste and translate it. In photos you can identify plants, pets, landmarks and more.

In addition, the applications "Weather" and "Maps". Finally, FaceTime can now invite any friends, even if they have Android or Windows devices.

Who will update?

The update can be installed for free by selecting "Settings"> "Basic"> "Software Update".
