Insider: Motorola is gearing up for a Moto E40 with a 6.5" 90Hz screen and 48 MP camera
Motorola last week unveiled Android Go smartphone Moto E20, and now is preparing to release its improved version called Moto E40.
What is known
The information was shared by insider Evan Blass. The novelty will run on an eight-core processor. What exactly the chip in question is still unknown, but we can assume that it will be the same SoC as the Moto E20 - Unisoc T606. Recall, it has two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores.
As for other specs, Moto E40 is credited with a multi-module main camera with a 48 MP main sensor and a 6.5 inch screen. The panel will get HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate support.
When the Moto E40 will be announced - no information available. Most likely, the novelty will be shown before the end of the year.
Recall, Motorola will hold an event in India on October 1, which will introduce a new smart TV and tablet Moto Tab 8.
