Redmi K50 Pro smartphone with Snapdragon 898 chip on board and 64 MP camera has been "spotted" in MIUI code

Dataminer under the nickname @xiaomiui spotted an as yet unannounced Xiaomi smartphone in the MIUI shell code.

What is known

The device goes by the codename Ingres. Apparently, it is the flagship smartphone Redmi K50 Pro. The novelty, according to the leak, will run the new top-of-the-line Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 898 (aka SM8450). In addition, the smartphone will get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a main triple camera with a 64 MP OmniVision main sensor. It will be complemented by a wide-angle camera and microlens.

By the way, besides the Ingres model, dataminer also found in MIUI mention of another new Xiaomi smartphone - Zizhan. Unfortunately, what kind of model it is is not yet known.

Both devices are not worth waiting for this year. Novelties are likely to be shown in the first half of 2022.
