It's official: OPPO K9 Pro with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip and triple 64 MP camera to be unveiled on September 26

OPPO, after weeks of rumors and leaks, has announced the launch date of its new low-cost smartphone with top specs.

What is known

It is a model OPPO K9 Pro. The device, according to official invitation, will be presented at an event in China on September 26. The novelty will hit the market in two colors.

Unfortunately, the specifications of the smartphone manufacturer has not yet disclosed, but if we believe the leaks, OPPO K9 Pro will get a 6.43-inch display with FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek's top-of-the-line octa-core Dimensity 1200 processor. The SoC will be paired with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. The device will also be equipped with NFC module, USB-C port, headphone jack, 5G modem and a 4,500mAh battery.

As for the cameras, there should be four of them: triple main sensor with 64 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP and a single front by 16 MP. The OPPO K9 Pro should cost around $380.
