Cryptocurrency exchange Binance blocked the account of a Ukrainian with more than $100,000. And the reason may be the sanctions imposed by the United States on one of the exchangers.

The incident took place on September 21, 2021. Binance has blocked the account of one of the users without warning. Later it became known that he had transferred funds to the exchanger Suex, which is under U.S. sanctions.

The user himself confirms the transfer of $1,700, but not to a personal wallet, but to an acquaintance. At the same time, Binance did not immediately name the reason for the blocking. First, the exchange has disabled the reactivation of the account, and then sent a user to technical support, where a request was sent for review until September 27.

Another day later, representatives of Binance notified the client that he had violated the "Terms of Use", and the account is now under investigation. The victim's lawyer reported several similar cases. In each of them, the amount of funds in the blocked account exceeds $100,000.
