Honor 50 flagship launches internationally in late October - with Google services and 5G support
In mid-June, the newly independent Honor brand unveiled its first flagships after separating from Huawei - the Honor 50 line. Although it has been more than three months, the company has finally announced its return to the international market.
When?
So far, the smartphones have only been sold in China, but that will soon change. Honor has scheduled a presentation to be held on October 27 in Berlin, Germany. It is known that two smartphones will be unveiled at the event. One of them is the base Honor 50, and the second one is expected to be the Honor 50 Lite. That it looks like Honor 50 Pro will still remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
It is also confirmed that the smartphones will be devoid of any restrictions related to American sanctions. This means that they will get both 5G support (in case anyone doubted), and pre-installed Google services, and branded Google Play store, and official Android.
By the way, the Honor 50 is already available in German online store brand in colors Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Frost Crystal, and also in variant with silver pattern with Honor logos. Two variations will be available with 6/128GB and 8/256GB memory.
As for the second model, called Honor 50 Lite, it should be a slightly smaller version with 64-megapixel camera and LTE support, but not 5G.
