Rumor: iPhone 14 lineup will get versions with 2TB memory

 Apple has only recently unveiled the new iPhone 13 family of smartphones, and information about future iPhone 14 line is already appearing on the web. A source assures that 2022 smartphones will have even more memory.

How long to wait?

In this year, Apple doubled the maximum amount of built-in memory, and it is now 1 TB. True, only the older Pro and Pro Max models have it. One of the reasons seems to be the new camera features: for example, you'll need at least 256GB of memory to record ProRes video at 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.

Now the same source says that the iPhone 14 will be available in versions with 2TB memory, meaning the maximum capacity will be doubled again. Which models exactly - are not specified, but it's likely that like this year Apple will be limited to Pro and Pro Max variants. Then the remaining models are expected to increase capacity from 512GB to 1TB.

 For now, this information should be taken with a degree of doubt, as the launch of the lineup is still a long time away, and at any moment plans can change.
