Phrozen announces the highest-resolution 3D printer ever to hit the commercial market

Phrozen, one of the world's leading manufacturers of 3D printers, has announced the Sonic 8K mini, a resin-based LCD printer with the highest resolution ever seen in commercially available equipment.

As the name implies, the 8K resolution of this printer produces crisp details of even the smallest sizes at 1152 PPI (or 22 microns) XY resolution, making it fantastic for desktop miniatures and prototyping products such as jewelry.

Although the printer is in the compact class, you get a decent 7.1-inch screen, as well as other benefits like a rugged metal body and a 3.5-inch touchpad.

If you're looking for something that achieves extremely fine detail, you should look at resin-based printers (often called LCD, SLA or DLP depending on the technology used) rather than filament (or FDM) printers, due to their ability to render detail without noticeable print lines.
