Last month, DXOMark published a camera review of the iPhone 13 Pro, stating that it was better than last year's iPhone 12 Pro. Now the company has published a review of the iPhone 13 camera, and it's also better than the 12 Pro.

DXOMark claims a "Photo Score of 138," which is one point better than the iPhone 12 Pro, and a "Video Score of 117." Both scores here are in favor of the iPhone 13. Zoom also got a good score of 55 points.

It should be noted that the iPhone 13 and 13 mini have the same camera modules. DXOMark confirms this, so no matter which iPhone 13 you buy, the "simple" or the "mini", the camera capabilities will be the same.

DXOMark praises this phone's camera, saying that it shoots overall with good colors and white balance, nice skin tones in most lighting conditions, fast, accurate and repeatable autofocus, and mostly accurate and smooth video autofocus.

On the other hand, the review criticizes the lack of a telephoto lens, which limits detail when using the medium and long-range zoom. DXOMark also notes the presence of noticeable noise in video, especially in low-light conditions, as well as limited dynamic range in complex high-contrast scenes.

As a result, the iPhone 13 and 13 mini are ranked tenth in the global smartphone rankings, matching the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
