In September, Samsung started sending out firmware update One UI with RAM Plus RAM expansion feature. The other day it became available for last year's budget-friendly device.

Who's in luck?

We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy A12 model. It was announced in November 2020 and went on sale a month later. The smartphone features an IPS display, Helio P35 processor, 48 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP primary camera and a 5000 mAh battery.

The model is available in several modifications depending on the region of sales. There are versions with 2/3/4/6GB RAM and 32/64/128GB storage. The RAM Plus function allows you to increase the RAM capacity by 2 GB.

Recall, support for RAM expansion already boasts Samsung Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A52 4G, Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 3 as part of One UI 3.1 firmware. Samsung Galaxy S21 family flagships got RAM Plus along with a test version of One UI 4.0 on Android 12.
