Apple has released a new system update for iPhone owners.

What's known

The firmware has been released with the number iOS 15.0.2. It weighs about 500 MB and contains mostly bug fixes :

  • Photos saved to the media library from iMessage could be deleted after deleting the corresponding conversation or message.
  • The MagSafe leather iPhone wallet case might not connect to Find My.
  • AirTag may not have shown up in the "Stuff" tab in Find My.
  • CarPlay might not open audio apps or might disconnect while playing.
  • Could crash when restoring or updating the device using Finder or iTunes on iPhone 13 models.

When to wait

The update has already started rolling out "over the air" to all supported devices.
