Rival of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Huawei Mate X2: specs of OPPO's first foldable smartphone leaked online
We have already written more than once that OPPO is preparing its first commercial foldable smartphone. Now, thanks to a Chinese insider, its specifications have appeared online.
What is the beast
According to Digital Chat Station, the novelty will receive a form factor of a book. That is, OPPO foldable smartphone will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Huawei Mate X2.
The main screen of the device will have OLED panel with a diagonal of up to 8 inches. The display will get 2K resolution, as well as support for 120Hz picture refresh rate. Under the hood of the gadget should be installed top processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. Also, a whistleblower attributes the novelty to a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a main camera with a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor and a 32 MP front-facing camera.
The device will ship with Android 12 operating system and a new proprietary ColorOS 12 shell. No other details about the new product are available yet.
When to expectThe announcement of OPPO foldable smartphone should be held in early 2022.
