Huawei continues to update the software of its smartphones, replacing the EMUI firmware from Android with its own HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. The update was released the other day for several older models.

HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta became available for six 2017 and 2018 smartphones. Firstly, they are the Huawei nova 2S, Honor 9 and Honor V9. All of them were announced in 2017 and feature the once flagship 16nm Kirin 960 processor.

Secondly, the beta operating system is available for Honor Play, Honor Note 10 and Huawei nova 3i. The first two models are equipped with the Kirin 970 chip, while the third runs on Kirin 710. The smartphones were unveiled in summer 2018.
