Samsung has already started testing the company's One UI 4.0 shell. A beta version of the software is available for the Galaxy S21 flagship smartphones, while a stable build will have to wait until winter.

What's known

The firmware is based on Android 12. The second build brought support for RAM Plus and Material You theme. It became available last week for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra owners in South Korea, China, Germany, India, US, Poland and UK.

Moderator on Samsung's official forum said that the stable version of One UI 4.0 firmware with Android 12 operating system will not be available until December. Users in South Korea will be the first to receive the update.

When Samsung will start sending out the software update in other regions is unknown. There is also no information on when One UI 4.0 will be available for the rest of the company's smartphones. Recall that a year earlier One UI 3.0 was released immediately in South Korea and the United States.
